2021 Season (Redshirt-Freshman): Played in 10 games… Ended the year with four solo tackles… Made two tackles in the opener vs. Illinois State (Sept. 4)… Credited with a single tackle in the win over Taylor (Sept. 18)… Final tackle came vs. San Diego (Oct. 9).

2021 Spring Season (Freshman): Played in five games, making three starts… Ended the year with six tackles… Made his debut at San Diego with a season-high three tackles (March 20)… Made two stops in the finale at Morehead State (April 17).

High School: Three-year starter under the guidance of head coach Chris Harvey… Posted 27 tackles and 1.5 sacks as a senior… Blocked two punts… Also had 27 tackles as a junior with five sacks, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery… Helped the defense record two safeties… Named Second Team All-County… Member of the National Honor Society… Also played baseball.
 
Personal: Son of Derrick and Lauren Romaelle… Has four siblings; Kameron, Kayla, Jared and Emma… Plans to major in engineering.
