2022 PFL Academic Honor Roll

2023 Season (Junior): Appeared in six games… Ended the year with seven tackles (2 solo)… Picked off a pass at Morehead State and returned it 18 yards for a touchdown (11/4)… Added two tackles at MSU and was credited with half a tackle for loss… Made his debut vs. Taylor… First tackle of the season was recorded against Davidson (10/14)… Had a season-high two tackles at Dayton (10/21).

2022 Season (Sophomore): Played in five games… Made six tackles… Credited with five solo tackles while assisting on one… Broke-up a pass and made two tackles vs. Taylor (9/10)… Added two tackles to his season total at Davidson (10/1)… Ended the year with two unassisted tackles vs. Morehead State (10/29).

2021 Season (Freshman): Did not appear in any games.

2021 Spring Season: Played vs. Drake (April 10)... Redshirt

High School: Two-year starter under the direction of head coach Jeff Mazurczak… Helped his team win 20 games over his last two years… That group went 14-2 against conference opponents… 2018 Conference Champs and State Semi-finalists… Recorded 36 tackles and four interceptions as a junior with 12 passes defended… Increased those numbers with 51 tackles in 2019 to go along with three interceptions and 18 passes defended… Named First Team All-Conference and honorable mention All-Area… Also participated in basketball and track and field.
 
Personal: Son of John and Lisa Coury… Has three siblings Kristen, Matthew and Claire… Plans to major in business.
