Biography

*Played one season at Butler as a graduate transfer
*Helped Butler to 2017 Sweet 16 appearance
*Led the team with 75 three-pointers on 42-percent shooting
*Graduated from Memphis in May, 2016 with one season of eligibility remaining
*In his two seasons at Memphis, shot .405 from behind the arc (138-341), which is third in Memphis career history.

AS A GRADUATE STUDENT (2016-17 SEASON):

His 75 three-pointers and .421 three-point shooting led the Bulldogs...he finished the season ranked seventh in the BIG EAST in three-point field goal percentage and eighth in three-pointers made...his 8.9 points per game were fourth on the team...added 2.6 rebounds per game...shot 43 percent from the field and 77 percent from the free throw line...matched his career-high with six three-pointers for 18 points in the NCAA Tournament win over Winthrop (3/16/17)...also had six three-pointers in the win over St. John's 2/15/17, posting a season-best 20 points...scored in double figures 12 times, leading the team in scoring in four games...had six rebounds in three separate contests.
 
AS A JUNIOR (2015-16 SEASON AT MEMPHIS):
His 77 three-pointers made are the fifth-most in a single season in Memphis program history…his .430 three-point percentage is also the fifth-best single-season mark at Memphis…ranked third in the American Athletic Association in three-point field goal percentage and his 77 three-pointers were second-most in the AAC…averaged 9.6 points and 2.6 rebounds per game...scored in double-figures 15 times on the season…hit at least two three-pointers 25 times, and hit at least five three-point field goals four times…scored 12 points in the AAC Tournament against Tulsa before missing the final two games due to injury…scored a season-high 20 points at East Carolina in the regular season finale, making six three-pointers…other impressive scoring outputs included 18 points at Cincinnati, 19 points at UCF, and 17 points at South Florida...named to the AAC Weekly Honor Roll on December 28.
 
AS A SOPHOMORE (2014-15 SEASON AT MEMPHIS): Only Tigers player to see action in all 32 games…his 30 starts also led the team…averaged 27.3 minutes per game…averaged 7.9 points (fourth on team) and 2.4 rebounds…recorded 11 double-figure scoring games…shot 37.4 percent from the floor, 37.7 percent from the three-point arc and 82.1 percent from the free throw line…led team in three-pointers made (61), which was also tenth in the American Athletic Association for three-pointers made per game…recorded 24 games with two or more three-pointers made…had 36 assists, eight blocked shots and 32 steals (tied for team lead)…ranked seventh in the AAC in three-point field goal percentage (.377)…scored a season-best 23 points, including six three-pointers in the conference-opening win over Houston…received his first college start in the season opener against Wichita State, scoring 10 points.

2013-14 SEASON (at East Mississippi Community College): Rated the nation's No. 34 junior college player by 247sports.com following the season...led team to a 20-7 overall record, the program's fifth-straight 20-win campaign...named to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All-Region XXIII Team...also a Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) All-North Division first team selection...the Lions' second-leading scorer (15.7 ppg) and rebounder (5.8 rpg)...shot 42.5 percent from the field, 37.6 percent from the arc and 73.3 percent from the charity stripe...saw action in all 27 games and made 25 starts...scored double figures in 22 games...had 10 20-point performances, including two 30-point outings...hit three or more three-pointers 15 times...recorded two double-doubles against East Central (21 points/10 rebounds) and Coahoma (26 points/12 rebounds)...East Mississippi fell to Jones County 73-72 in the NJCAA Region XXIII semifinals, while Woodson scored 18 points...dropped a 73-72 decision to Itawamba in the MACJC state tournament championship game with Woodson scoring 15 points…in the MACJC state tournament semifinal win over Jones County, scored 31 points, including nine three-pointers…named MACJC Player of the Week Feb. 11, 2014, after averaging 24.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists in two wins...scored a season-high 32 points vs. Wallace State-Hanceville.
 
2012-13 SEASON: Signed with Southeastern Louisiana…redshirted the season and transferred to East Mississippi Community College following the season.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Capped his prep playing career by participating in the 2012 Mississippi/Alabama High School All-Star Basketball Game...Mississippi Class 5A All-State second team selection by The Clarion-Ledger as a senior...averaged a team-leading 15.1 points per game, including nine 20-point outings...scored a season-high 30 points against West Jones...helped lead Wayne County to a 33-2 record and runner-up finish in the 2012 Class 5A Mississippi High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) State Tournament...shared Team MVP honors ...named to the 2011-12 Jackson Clarion-Ledger Boys Basketball Dandy Dozen preseason basketball team...as a junior, averaged 9.7 points and 6.0 rebounds...helped lead the 31-1 War Eagles to the 2011 Class 5A state championship...tallied 18 points on 5-of-6 shooting (3-of-4 behind the arc) from the field and 5-of-5 from the line in championship game win over Lanier…following his junior campaign, selected to the all-district team...also named Wayne County High School's Most Improved Player in 2010-11...played in the 2011 Mississippi North-South All-Star Game for rising seniors…high school coach: Ron Norman.
