AS A SOPHOMORE (2024-25 SEASON): Played in 34 of the team's 35 games, making 16 starts...averaged 13.4 minutes per game...scored 4.1 points to go along with 2.8 rebounds per game...shot 40 percent from the field and 27 percent (18-for-66) from three-point range...shot 55 percent at the free throw line...scored in double figures four times...had two games with double-figure rebounds and led the team in rebounding four times on the season...posted a 13-point, 11-rebound double-double at Seton Hall Feb. 5...scored a season-best 14 points in the regular season finale against Boise State in the quarterfinals of the 2025 College Basketball Crown...pulled down a season-high 13 rebounds at Xavier Feb. 18...scored 13 points (including three made three-pointers) against Creighton Jan. 11 and 12 points (5-for-5 from the free throw line) against St. John's Feb. 26...all 16 of his starts came after Jan. 15.

AS A FRESHMAN (2023-24 SEASON): Played in 22 games, averaging 7.0 minutes of action per contest...played double-digit minutes in seven games...posted averages of 2.0 points and 1.7 rebounds per game...shot 48 percent from the field and made seven of his 17 attempts from three-point range (41 percent)...made eight of his 11 free throw attempts (73 percent)...posted season-bests of 11 points (on 5-for-6 shooting) and six rebounds in the Nov. 10 win over Southeast Missouri State, his only game reaching double figures...had four games with four or more rebounds...scored eight points in the Feb. 2 road win over nationally-ranked Creighton, which included a pair of made three-pointers.

PRIOR TO BUTLER: One of five finalists for 2023 Minnesota Mr. Basketball…led his team to a 29-3 record and to the Class AA State Tournament semifinals as a senior…averaged 23 points and 13 rebounds as a senior…named to the 2022-23 Star Tribune All-State and All-Metro Teams…voted to Minnesota State All-Tournament Team…finished as Holy Family’s all-time leading scorer with 1,796 career points…pulled down 1,062 rebounds during his high school career…three-time all-conference honoree…as a junior at Holy Family, he averaged 27.2 points and 14.7 rebounds per game…added 1.2 blocks per outing…shot better than 60 percent from the field, including 38 percent from behind the three-point line…had highs of 43 and 40 points, and 24 rebounds in another game…played with the D1 Minnesota program on the AAU circuit…rated as a three-star recruit and as the No. 3 prospect in the state of Minnesota by Prep Hoops…Minnesota Basketball Coaches Association All-Star…Academic All-State honoree…Laurel Member of the Holy Family Honor Society…Holy Family Academic Cord Award (3.5 or better GPA in multiple semesters).

PERSONAL: Son of Dan and Cynthia...his father played football at both Iowa and Wisconsin, and his mother played basketball at Maine...has a younger sister, Gabby, and a younger brother, Hunter.
