AS A SOPHOMORE (2023-24 SEASON): Saw action in nine games during the non-conference before an elbow injury in December...scored a season-high 13 points on 5-for-6 shooting in the season opener against Eastern Michigan Nov. 6...scored seven points against both East Tennessee State Nov. 13 and Saginaw Valley Dec. 15, which was his final game of the season...also had a season-best seven rebounds against Saginaw Valley...shot 52 percent from the field, including a 6-for-14 clip (43 percent) from three-point range...had a total of 16 blocks in his 105 minutes of play...his six blocks against East Tennessee State Nov. 13 were one shy of Butler's single-game record...had at least three blocks in three of his nine games played...averaged 4.1 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game. 

AS A FRESHMAN (2022-23 SEASON): Played in 22 of the team's 32 games during his rookie campaign...totaled 121 minutes of action, averaging 5.5 minutes per game...scored 2.0 points and added 0.7 rebounds per game...shot 44 percent from the field and 47 percent (8-for-17) from three-point range...made seven of his 10 three-point attempts in BIG EAST play...his 15 blocks were third on the team...scored a season-high six points in three straight games (vs. Creighton Jan. 17, at UConn Jan. 22, and at Providence Jan. 25)...posted three blocks in two separate games (at UConn Jan. 22 and against Seton Hall Jan. 28).

PRIOR TO BUTLER: Earned Class 6 All-State honors from the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association following both his senior and junior seasons...as a senior, averaged 23.5 points and 12.7 rebounds per game…shot 60 percent from the field, including 39 percent from behind the arc (30-of-78) and 81 percent from the free throw line…had seven games of 30 or more points and three of 20 or more rebounds…named to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch All-Metro team…as a junior, averaged 14.9 points, 7.3 rebounds and 5.0 blocks per game, leading the team to 27 wins and the Class 6 state semifinals…in the state semifinal, he scored 23 of his 28 points in the second half and sank a step-back 3-pointer to tie the score in the last minute of 53-51 loss to Liberty of Kansas City…during his complete prep career, led Fort Zumwalt North to a record of 60-24, one appearance in the state semifinals, two district titles and one conference championship…eclipsing 1,000 career points, he holds school records for career rebounds, single-season rebounds, career blocks, and single-season blocks…ESPN four-star recruit helped Brad Beal Elite to a runner-up finish at the 2021 Peach Jam as part of the Nike EYBL circuit…played for coach Mike Uffmann at Fort Zumwalt North.

PERSONAL: Son of LeeAnn Turnbull and Brad Turnbull…has four younger siblings, Johnathon, Brendan, Scarlet and Zoey.
