Biography
AS A GRADUATE STUDENT (2021-22 SEASON): Utilized the additional season of eligibility provided by the NCAA due to the COVID-19 pandemic...saw action in a total of 24 games, averaging 18.5 minutes per game...logged 12 starts...averaged 6.7 points, 1.6 rebounds and 0.8 assists per game...made 22 of his 24 free throw attempts (92 percent)...his 35 made three-pointers were second on the team...shot 32.7 percent from behind the arc...led the team in scoring in four games...had eight games scoring in double figures, including two contests with more than 20 points...his Butler-high of 23 points came at Georgetown Jan. 13...made a season-high five three-pointers at Georgetown, one of four games making four or more three-pointers...scored 21 points in the Nov. 13 win over Troy, which included a 4-for-5 performance from behind the arc...had a season-high six assists and three steals vs. Chaminade Nov. 24 in the Maui Invitational (played in Las Vegas)...pulled down five rebounds on three occasions.
AS A GRADUATE STUDENT (2020-21 SEASON): One of two Bulldogs to appear in all 25 of the team's games...started 24 games, averaging 33.1 minutes per outing...finished third on the team in scoring at 10.5 points per game, which was also 28th in the BIG EAST...had 13 games in double figures, including a pair of 20-point games...scored a season-high 21 points at DePaul Jan. 19 and 20 points against Indiana Dec. 19...led Butler in scoring six times and in rebounding once (a career-high nine in the season-opening win over Western Michigan Nov. 25)...pulled down 3.5 rebounds per game...shot .341 from three-point range, making 59 from behind the arc...his average of 2.4 three-pointers made per game was sixth in the BIG EAST...made at least one three-pointer in each of his first 24 games of the season...had three games with five or more three-pointers, including a career-high six vs. Indiana Dec. 19...shot .732 at the free throw line...had a career-high four steals in the BIG EAST Tournament quarterfinal vs. Creighton March 11...scored his 1,000th career collegiate point in the Feb. 24 win over Seton Hall...named to the five-member BIG EAST honor roll Jan. 25.

AS A REDSHIRT JUNIOR AT SOUTH CAROLINA (2019-20 SEASON): Averaged 8.5 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 21.4 minutes a game in his only season at South Carolina…started 15 of his 30 games…scored in double figures 15 times…team’s best three-point shooting, making 41.2 percent from behind the arc…made multiple three-pointers in 15 games…helped the Gamecocks to an 18-13 record, including a 10-8 mark in SEC play…had a team-high 22-point performance (8-of-13 from the field) in the Dec. 22 road win at Virginia (his season-high)…earned SEC Co-Player of the Week honors for his performance…scored 19 points on 5-of-7 shooting from three-point range at Texas A&M Jan. 18, along with a season-best six assists…scored 15 points (6-of-9 shooting) against LSU Feb. 22…pulled down a season-best eight rebounds in the Nov. 6 season opener against North Alabama.
Sat out the 2018-19 season after transferring to South Carolina from George Washington.
AS A SOPHOMORE AT GEORGE WASHINGTON (2017-18 SEASON): Averaged 11.2 points per game, which was second on the team…led the Colonials in assists (98)…scored in double figures in 20 games…started 24 games and played in 32…had two 20-point games, including 25 points vs. Princeton Dec. 6 and 22 points on 8-of-13 shooting (4-of-8 3FG) vs. Fordham March 7…registered a season-high eight assists against just one turnover vs. Duquesne Jan. 31…had 17 games making multiple three-pointers…made 55 three-pointers on the season, shooting 32 percent…averaged 3.0 rebounds per game…32.6 minutes per game…scored 18 points vs. Florida State and 16 points vs. Xavier in non-conference match-ups.
AS A FRESHMAN AT GEORGE WASHINGTON (2016-17 SEASON): Saw action in 35 games with 16 starts during his rookie season for the Colonials, averaging 4.8 points and 1.9 assists per game…played 15.6 minutes a game as the team posted a 20-15 record and earned a postseason berth in the 2017 CBI…had six games in double figures… scored a season- and team-high 16 points on 5-of-7 shooting (3-of-4 3FG) vs. La Salle Jan. 17…scored 15 points at Davidson Feb. 15…had a season-high five assists in two games…pulled down a season-best six rebounds vs. George Mason Feb. 26…his assist total was fourth on the team…averaged 17.9 minutes per game.
HIGH SCHOOL: Led Westtown School to its first state championship in any sport as a senior when it won the Pennsylvania Independent Schools Athletics Association boys' basketball championship...earned third-team all-state honors as a senior despite playing through a shoulder injury all season...first-team all-state selection as a junior...first-team all-league in each of his three years at Westtown, while also leading the school to three league championships and three state championship game appearances...named Athlete of the Year at Westtown as both a junior and senior...1,000-point scorer at Westtown...spent his first year of high school at St. Anthony's in New Jersey before transferring to Westtown prior to his sophomore season…three-star prospect according to 247sports.com.
PERSONAL: Graduated from South Carolina with a degree in retail management...son of Joel Bolden and Lesley D'Almeida…has a brother, Grey, and a sister, Kaya…father, Joel, played basketball at George Mason, and uncle, Jamel Thomas, played basketball at Providence…student body president as a senior at Westtown, while also winning "The Leadership Award"…one of his hobbies is skateboarding in his spare time…born in Silver Spring, Md., but raised in Brooklyn, N.Y.
