Transferred to Butler prior to the 2026-27 season; played one season at Florida Gulf Coast.

2025-26 SEASON AT FLORIDA GULF COAST: Selected to the ASUN All-Freshman Team…set an FGCU freshman season record by scoring 446 points…played in all 34 games, making 24 starts, including the last 16 games of the season…averaged 26.9 minutes per game, which was third on the team…scored 13.1 points per game (good for 15th in the ASUN) on 46.7-percent shooting…shot 35 percent from three-point range and 73 percent at the free throw line…led the team with 55 made three-pointers…tallied 3.4 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game…had 30 steals on the season…had five 20-point games, including 42 against Kennesaw State Nov. 26…named the ASUN Player and Newcomer of the Week for his efforts on the full week, which included back-to-back 20-point games after scoring a then-career high 20 points in the win over Nov. 25 Rice…his 62 points over two games marked the best two-game scoring stretch in program history…scored in double figures in 25 of his 34 games played, the most of any FGCU player…his 42-point game was the best regular season scoring game by any player in the ASUN in 2025-26 (Camren Hunter scored 49 in the ASUN Championship game for Central Arkansas)…scored in double-digits in 13 of 18 ASUN games, including a stretch of 11 consecutive games in double-digits during ASUN action…led FGCU to a win over Central Arkansas Feb. 21 with 23 points on 9-for-21 shooting from the field and 5-for-11 shooting from 3-point range for his best performance in ASUN play…scored 22 points on 8-for-11 shooting from the field and a perfect 6-for-6 from 2-point range against North Florida Feb. 11…scored 21 points on 9-for-15 shooting from the field at UCF Dec. 20…followed his 42-point masterpiece with 13 points and season-high eight rebounds at FIU Dec. 3…more about the 42-point game against Kennesaw State Nov. 26: in arguably the best game in program history, the true freshman erupted for 42 points on 13-18 FG / 5-8 3PT / 11-14 FT with four rebounds, two assists, two steals and just one turnover…his game was the most efficient scoring performance in FGCU history, the Alico Arena scoring record, the second 40-point game and the 19th 30+ point game in program history, and was one point shy of the FGCU single-game scoring record…Ellerbee became one of just five freshmen in NCAA history to record a game of 40+ points, 70%+ FG, 60%+ 3PT, 10 FGM, 5 3PTM+, per StatHead…Ellerbee's performance was one of just 34 games (by 28 players) for a true freshman to score 40 or more points since 2006, also per StatHead, a list that includes current and former NBA stars Cooper Flagg, Trae Young (4X), Cade Cunningham, Brandon Miller, Collin Sexton, Malik Monk, Ben Simmons, Andrew Wiggins, Michael Beasley (3X) and Tyler Hansbrough, among others…27 of his 42 points came in one half at FGCU as he scored FGCU’s first 17 points and 22 of the first 24 points in the game for the Eagles.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: 2024-25 Pennsylvania Gatorade Player of the Year…scored more than 1,000 points for head coach Jason Harrigan at St. Joseph’s Prep…selected as the Philadelphia Catholic League MVP, a Class 6A All-State first-team honoree, and was a finalist for Pennsylvania’s Mr. Basketball after averaging 16.3 points, 6.3 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game as a senior.
