2025 - Freshman Season: The All-BIG EAST Third Team honoree appeared in 16 matches with 14 starts for Butler…his four goals, four assists, and 12 total points all led the Bulldogs...also led the team with three game-winning goals - vs. Bowling Green (8/24), vs. Western Michigan 9/5), and vs. Marquette (10/11)...his game-winning goal vs. Western Michigan was scored with just seven seconds remaining in the match...recognized on BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll after scoring a goal at DePaul (10/3) and then assisting on both goals in the 2-1 win at Oakland (10/7)...his 28 shots also led Butler, and his 11 shots on goal were second.

PRIOR TO BUTLER: At Sporting Kansas City, Benitez scored 32 goals, helping the club reach the MLS NEXT playoffs and the GA Cup quarterfinals. He earned a call-up to El Salvador’s U20 side for CONCACAF.

PERSONAL: Benitez is the son of Sarah Benitez and Naun Benitez and has one sibling, Adriana.
