2014:Â Starter in all 18 matches...named second team All-BIG EAST...led the Bulldogs and tied for tenth in the BIG EAST in scoring with 15 points...tied for sixth in the conference in goals with six...tied for ninth in the BIG EAST in shots with 42...tied for third in the conference with a team-high three game-winning goals...scored Butler's game-winner in a 2-0 victory over #11 Providence...notched the game-winner against both IUPUI and Loyola...named to the All-Tournament Team at the Bert and Iris Wolstein Classic, after helping Butler to the team title...named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District V Team.
2013:Â Led the Bulldogs in goals scored and total points...named BIG EAST Rookie of the Year...chosen to the 2013 BIG EAST All-Tournament Team...ranked in the top three in the BIG EAST in both goals and points...recorded a hat trick against Houston Baptist on September 9...scored the game-tying and game-winning goals against Indiana on September 25...led the Bulldogs with five game-winning goals.Â
Prior to Butler:Â Originally from Bristol, England, Goldsmith played for West Bromwich Albion English Premier League Academy for five years. This past year, he was named captain of the Nike Academy on Loughborough, England. Goldsmith has also spent time in an under-19 camp for Wales.
"I felt a great connection to Coach Snape both personally and his vision of the direction and style of play of the team," Goldsmith said at the time of his committment. "I am looking forward to the opportunity to earn a degree from a prestigious University and further my dreams of playing professionally after college."
