2025-26 SEASON (AS A JUNIOR): Selected to the All-BIG EAST third team by the league's coaches...scored the 1,000th point of his Butler career in the March 7 win at DePaul...led the Bulldogs in scoring at 17.1 points per game...started all 31 games that he appeared in (missing one game due to injury)...named BIG EAST Player of the Week Jan. 26 after scoring 28 points in the Jan. 23 win over Marquette and 24 points in the Jan. 20 win over DePaul...scored a season-best 30 points at Providence Feb. 4...scored in double figures 27 times, including 11 games scoring 20 points or more...led Butler in scoring 15 times during the season...made a team-high 68 three-pointers, shooting 35 percent from behind the arc...shot 43 percent from the field and 85 percent at the free throw line...his 79 assists (2.5 per game) were second on the team...led the Bulldogs with 25 points in the Greenbrier Tip-Off championship game win over Virginia Nov. 23...had four games making five or more three-pointers during the season, including six against Eastern Michigan Dec. 2...hit at least one three-pointer in 27 of his 31 games and made multiple three-pointers 18 times...had five games with five or more assists...had three steals at SMU Nov. 15...averaged 17.6 points per game in BIG EAST play...went 103-for-115 (90 percent) at the free throw line in conference action.

SUMMER 2025: Selected to the USA Basketball 3x3 development camp April 28-30 in Phoenix...participants will be considered for future USA 3x3 national team and FIBA 3x3 pro circuit assignments.

2024-25 SEASON (AS A SOPHOMORE): Team's fourth-leading scorer at 10.3 points per game...scored in double figures 18 times, including a 30-point performance against Boise State in the quarterfinals of the 2025 College Basketball Crown April 2...hit a season-best six three-pointers in that game, one of four games on the season making four or more three-pointers...his 42.8-percent shooting from three-point range led the team...averaged 2.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game...started 30 of the 34 games he played in (missed the regular season opener due to injury)...averaged 27.6 minutes per game...shot 44.3 percent from the field and 76 percent from the free throw line...his seven assists against Boise State April 2 were a season-high, one of four games on the season with five or more assists...pulled down a season-best nine rebounds in the Nov. 11 win over Western Michigan...had seven games during the season with five or more rebounds...led the team in scoring three times and led the team in rebounding once...made 34 of his final 36 free throws to close the season. 

SUMMER 2024: Represented the United States in the 2024 U23 Nations League Americas, an international 3x3 event in July in Mexico City...over the course of the event, the American men posted an impressive 11-3 record, winning the Americas conference.

2023-24 SEASON (AS A FRESHMAN): Selected to the BIG EAST All-Freshman Team by the conference's head coaches...played in all 33 games for the Bulldogs off the bench, averaging 14.9 minutes per game...posted averages of 4.2 points, 1.2 rebounds and 0.9 assists per game...finished seventh on the team in both scoring and minutes played...led the Bulldogs in scoring twice...had three games in double figures, including a season-best 19 points in the Feb. 13 game against Top 10 Marquette (5-for-10 from the field and 6-for-8 from the free throw line)...scored 17 points against Saginaw Valley Dec. 15...registered 11 points, including a perfect 3-for-3 from behind the arc, in the Feb. 2 road win at nationally-ranked Creighton...had four rebounds three times...had a season-best five assists in the Nov. 10 win over Southeast Missouri State...shot 79 percent from the free throw line (26-for-33)...shot 38 percent from the field and 27 percent from three-point range. 

PRIOR TO BUTLER: Standout for both Byron Nelson High School and the Southern Assault program…ranked as the No. 97 player (and a four-star recruit) in the Class of 2023 by ESPN…2022-23 All-State selection by the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches…finalist for Class 6A Boys Basketball Player of the Year…2023 McDonald’s All American Games Nominee...owns school records with 2,832 career points, 275 career three-pointers, and 435 career assists…totaled 494 career rebounds…led his team to 100 wins during his career…averaged 28.1 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game as a senior…made 113 three-pointers during his senior season... 2022-23 Star-Telegram All-Area Player of the Year…District 4-6A MVP…led the Bobcats to the Class 6A Region I final…had games scoring 51 and 53 points during the 2022-23 season…as a junior at Byron Nelson, he averaged 25.0 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.8 steals per game…led the team to a record of 24-10…made a total of 77 three-pointers and shot 77 percent from the free throw line…had a high of 40 points and scored 30 or more in five other games during his junior season…led Southern Assault to a third-place finish at the 3SSB Open Championships in July, 2022…ranked as a Top 150 prospect and three-star recruit by Rivals, 247sports and On3 in addition to his ESPN ranking…Academic All-District honoree who maintains a 4.1 GPA.

PERSONAL: His mother Amber (Griggs) played basketball at San Diego State...his stepfather Korey Beard was a standout wide receiver at SMU before eventually making it to the NFL; Korey is good friends with NBA veteran Devin Harris.
