*2017 BIG EAST All-Tournament Team

2018: Team captain...started all 18 of the team's matches...scored his lone goal of the season at Xavier Oct. 31 in his final Butler match...took 13 shots on the season...played 1,648 minutes, going the distance in all but three contests.

2017: Started all 21 games...played 1,950 of a possible 1,955 minutes...scored two goals on the season, which came in wins over San Francisco and Xavier...the goal against San Francisco was the game-winner...finished the season with six points and two assists...Butler faced only a combined 15 shots in consecutive shutouts against Indiana and Villanova. Geldenhuys earned a spot on the Top Drawer Soccer's National Team of the Week for his efforts...anchored a defense that allowed only 23 goals in 21 matches, including nine shutouts...selected to the 2017 BIG EAST All-Tournament Team. 

2016: Played in all 20 matches, including 18 as a starter... finished the season with one assist, which came assist against IUPUI Aug. 30...team posted seven shutouts. 

2015: Played in 14 matches, including 11 as a starter...recorded one goal and one assist...the goal came in the team's win over Providence Oct. 3...had four shots, including two on goal.

PRIOR TO BUTLER: Born in South Africa, Geldenhuys attended High School in Dubai. Geldenhuys' high school team won the Middle Eastern interschool football tournament four consecutive years. Each year he was named was Captain and Player of the Year. Geldenhuys has also played in England with Notts County F.C. for the past two years, where he helped them reach the final of the Midlands Cup. Geldenhuys also made numerous appearances for the reserves.
