2019: Team captain...missed the first 10 matches of the season after suffering an injury in the preseason...started the final 10 matches of the campaign...selected to the All-BIG EAST Third Team by the conference's head coaches...scored a goal in his first action of the season, finding the net vs. DePaul Oct. 12...had assists in the win at Lipscomb Oct. 16 and at Marquette Oct. 23...took 16 shots on the season.

2018: Team captain...played in all 18 matches, making 17 starts...scored two goals at Evansville Oct. 2, the first multi-goal game of his Butler career...added an assist against SIUE Oct. 9...took 25 shots on the season, including five against Evansville...his 25 shots were second on the team...played mainly in the midfield, but started several matches late in the season in the back line...preseason All-BIG EAST as selected by the conference's head coaches.

2017: Team captain...received a medical redshirt after suffering a season-ending injury against Louisville in the team's second match of the season...started the first two games of the season...scored the game-winning goal against UIC in the season opener...earned BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week Aug. 28 after scoring that game-winner...was selected to the Preseason All-BIG EAST team by the league's coaches.

2016: Selected to the All-BIG EAST First Team by the league's head coaches...started all 20 matches... led the team and BIG EAST in assists (9)...led the BIG EAST in assists per game (.45)...finished the season with two goals, including one game-winner...had multiple-assist games against UC-Santa Barbara Sept. 9 and Marquette Oct. 29...scored his first goal of the season, which was also a game-winner, against Providence Sept. 24...earned a spot on the 2016 BIG EAST All-Tournament Team.

2015: Started 17 matches, missing the team's other match due to a red card...had one assist, which came against Villanova Sept. 26...recorded 19 shots, including four on goal...earned a spot of the 2015 All-BIG EAST Freshman Team.

PRIOR TO BUTLER: Timmer was a four-year starter at Unity Christian, named All-State three times and captained two State Championship teams. College Soccer News ranked Timmer among the top 150 recruits in the nation and he was also selected to McDonalds High School All-American game. Timmer played club soccer for the Grand Rapids Crew Juniors and has won two state cups. He was also a member of the National Championship winning team for the Bloomfield Force's Super 20s in 2013.
