Biography

2021 - Redshirt-Junior Season: Appeared in 14 matches, starting three...notched one assist vs. Milwaukee Sep. 3...took two shots.

SPRING 2021 - Junior Season: Redshirted the season due to injury.

2019 - Sophomore Season: One of only four Bulldogs to start every match (also one of only five Bulldogs to appear in all 20 of Butler's contests)...registered an assist in the win at Seton Hall Oct. 19...logged 1,854 minutes, with a majority of those coming on the right side along the Bulldogs' back line...took eight shots on the season...part of a Butler defense that posted six shutouts on the season.

2018 - Freshman Season: Made 11 starts during his freshman campaign...saw action in 17 of the team's 18 matches...scored the first goal of his Butler career in the team's season-opening Aug. 24 match at Akron...added an assist against Xavier in the season finale Oct. 31...took 12 shots on the season.

PRIOR TO BUTLER: Originally from Tokyo, Bulger played his prep career in Ohio with the Columbus Crew SC Academy. The defender helped lead his team to an appearance in the academy playoffs two years in a row. He was also named captain. During his academic career, Bulger received three-straight Principal Awards.

PERSONAL: Son of Mark Bulger and Sakiko Bulger...has two siblings, George and Leia.
