2022 - Senior Season: Started all 19 matches in the Bulldogs' defensive line...his first career goal was the game-winner at Oakland, Sep. 4...named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll (9/5)...notched his first career assist, contributing to the game-tying goal in the 90th minute vs. Xavier, Nov. 2...registered 4 shots, with 2 on goal...selected to the BIG EAST Championship All-Tournament Team...named Academic All-District by College Sports Communicators...United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-America Third Team and All-North/Central Region Team.

2021 - Junior Season: Started all 18 matches in which he appeared...anchored a defensive unit that allowed only 20 goals in 19 matches and recorded five shutouts...produced four shots, two on goal.

SPRING 2021 - Sophomore Season: Started all 12 matches for the Bulldogs, playing all 1,148 minutes...was an anchor on the Butler defense, which posted five shutouts on the season and allowed only 14 goals in 12 matches...one of three Bulldogs to play every minute during the season (joining keeper Gabriel Gjergji and Rhys Myers).

2019 - Freshman Season: One of only five Bulldogs to appear in all 20 matches...made 15 starts as a freshman...played a large role as part of a Butler defense that posted six shutouts on the season...his lone shot of the season came vs. St. John's Sept. 28...logged 1,463 minutes on the season.

PRIOR TO BUTLER: Barnes comes to Butler after a stint with Sockers FC of Chicago. The 5-11 defender was named an AP scholar and posted a GPA of 4.0 in the classroom.

PERSONAL: Son of Peter Barnes and Marilyn Barnes...has one sibling, Meryl.
