2015: Selected by the Chicago Fire in the fourth round of the 2016 MLS SuperDraft (No. 62 overall)...attended adidas MLS Player Combine in January...All- BIG EAST First Team...BIG EAST Offensive Player of the week after scoring two goals against #25 Xavier on Senior Night...lead the team in scoring...second in the BIG EAST at 1.75 points per game...had 26 points on 11 goals and four assists... four of his goals were game-winners.
2014: Played in 17 matches, including 14 as a starter...finished fourth on the team in scoring with a pair of goals...had the game-winning goal in Butler's season-opening victory over Canisius...finished with 25 shots, including 12 shots on goal...had a career-high five shots against Evansville...scored a goal in Butler's victory over #11 Providence.
2013: Finished the season third on the team in goals with five. Started 17 of the 18 games he appeared in for the Bulldogs and accounted for 14 points and four assists. Of his 29 shots, 14 of them were on goal.
Prior to Butler: Mitchell transferred to Butler prior to the 2013 season. Before then, he played one season at Concordia College in Alabama where he was named a USCAA First Team All-American. Originally from Reckford Clarendon, Jamaica, he attended Manchester High School. During his senior year at the school, he was selected to come to camp with the Jamaican under-20 National Team.
"I chose Butler University because of its many great academic opportunities. I am also looking forward to helping contribute to the team and play at the highest level of college soccer," Mitchell said at the time of his commitment.
