Butler University Athletics

PRIOR TO BUTLER: Johnson was a four-year letterwinner at Watertown, helping lead the team to multiple conference, regional, and sectional championships and qualifying for state competition in 2024 and 2025. The team captain, who garnered All-Conference and All-District recognition, accumulated 39 wins in the circle over three seasons, missing her senior season due to injury. The two-sport athlete was also an All-Conference basketball player, and she played club softball for the Wisconsin Lightning. A National Honor Society member, Johnson was her class Valedictorian and graduated Summa Cum Laude. 

ON CHOOSING BUTLER: “Butler had everything I was looking for. I immediately fell in love with the coaching staff and the positive team culture within the program. Academically, Butler will challenge and prepare me for my career after college and athletics. Butler is a beautiful campus with so much to offer. I wouldn't want to spend my next four years anywhere else.”

PERSONAL: Johnson is the daughter of Rod and Diana Johnson and has one sibling, Ethan.
