Aaron Bogenschutz

Aaron Bogenschutz was hired in December of 2013 as Assistant Athletic Trainer at Butler University. He is the primary athletic trainer for the men’s soccer and softball teams. Bogenschutz came to Butler after spending one year as the Assistant Athletic Trainer for men’s soccer and baseball at the University of Indianapolis. Prior to his time at UIndy, Bogenschutz served two years as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Northern Illinois University providing primary care to the men’s soccer and track and field teams.

Aaron earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Indianapolis in 2011 double majoring in athletic training and exercise science. In 2013 he earned his master’s degree from Northern Illinois University in sports management.

Director of Sports Medicine Ryan Galloy on Aaron: "As an undergraduate student at UIndy, Aaron spent considerable time gaining athletic training experience at Butler. During those clinical rotations, he was able to impress our staff with his work ethic and dedication to the profession of athletic training and I knew I would want him on our staff someday. This past winter, that opportunity arose and I couldn’t be happier he is now a Butler Bulldog!"
