Daniel Shipley served on the Bulldogs coaching staff as a student manager during the 2019 and 2020 seasons and then as a student assistant coach the past two seasons. During that four-year period, the Bulldogs made two BIG EAST Tournament appearances, winning a record 16 conference games in 2022.

Shipley, a native of Houston, Texas, graduated from Butler in May, 2022, with both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in accounting.
