Butler University Athletics

PRIOR TO BUTLER: Murray was a four-year letterwinner and starter at Fishers High School. Her team went 52-46-1 over four season and won the school's first Hoosier Crossroads Conference Championship in 2023. She broke school records for career pitching appearances and career home runs (89) and ended up second in career pitching wins, pitching K's, and RBI. Postseason honors included All-State First Team, SCAI North South Team, and Indy Star Super Team (2025), 4x All-Hoosier Crossroads Conference First Team, 3x All-Hamilton County First Team, and 4x team MVP. Murray played club for Lady Dukes National Kiemeyer/Tesnar which was 40-14-1 in 2025 and placed 3rd at the Alliance Open Nationals. She earned her Academic Honors Diploma, participated for four years on the Student Athlete Leadership Team (SALT), and was a member of the IHSAA Student Leadership Team.

ON CHOOSING BUTLER: “I chose Butler because it was a perfect fit for me both academically and athletically. On my visit, it was prevalent that the softball team had great culture and competitiveness, both on and off the field. Butler offers the opportunities like sporting events and one-on-one time with professors which really sealed the deal for me."

PERSONAL: Murray is the daughter of Rob and Laura Murray and has one sibling, Sam.
