PRIOR TO BUTLER: Graves was a four-year starter and letterwinner who helped lead Bedford North Lawrence to conference, sectional, and regional championships. Postseason honors included All-State First Team, All-Conference First Team, SCAI All-Star, BNL Athlete of the Year, and BNL Defensive Player of the Year. As a senior, Graves batted .515 with 11 HR, 53 hits, and 42 RBI. She finished third all-time at BNL in career home runs and was only the 3rd player with 50+ hits in a single season. Additional accolades at BNL included All-America Scholar Athlete, Academic Honors, and Technical Honors. Graves was also a part of Indiana Gators Premier.

ON CHOOSING BUTLER: “When I first walked on campus, I immediately fell in love with it. The coaching staff and amazing culture were a huge deciding factor, and I knew I wanted to be a Bulldog! I wanted to be close to home, and I am very excited to be pushed academically as well as athletically!”

PERSONAL: Daughter of Tom and Shannon Graves, has one sibling, Colby.
