Butler University Athletics

PRIOR TO BUTLER: Hunt was a four-year letterwinner and varsity starter at South Bend Riley High School and helped lead her team to a Northern Indiana Conference division championship in 2023. Hunt batted .407 in her senior season, notching 22 stolen bases and knocking 11 triples, which tied the school record. Postseason accolades included All-NIC First Team shortstop '25, All-NIC First Team utility player '24, and team MVP '24. The softball team captain earned 11 varsity letters, also competing in soccer (4 years), basketball (2 years), and swimming (1 year). Hunt, who also played with the South Bend Gators, was her class valedictorian and was named Academic All-State in 2025.

ON CHOOSING BUTLER: "I chose Butler because it is close (but not too close) to home. I really loved the campus on my visit; everyone I met was super friendly. I appreciate the teacher/student ratio in the classrooms. I like how it is a small school but still feels big. Most of all I saw what Butler has been for my older sister, and I can't wait for Butler to do that for me. Go Dawgs!!"

PERSONAL: Hunt is the daughter of Rob Hunt III and Krista Hunt and has three siblings, Rob IV, Alexa, and her twin, Cole.
