*BIG EAST Freshman of the Week (9/29/25)

2025 - Freshman Season: Appeared in 17 matches with 11 starts…recorded seven points for the Bulldogs, tied for the fourth-most on the team…produced 24 shots, tied for the fourth-highest…scored three goals, the third-most on the team…rewarded BIG EAST Freshman of the Week (9/29) after scoring Butler's only goal vs. DePaul (9/24) and adding another vs. Providence (9/27).

PRIOR TO BUTLER: Carlson’s club teams twice reached the GA National Tournament Final Four, were two-time GA Frontier Conference champions, and she was a two-time participant in the GA Frontier Conference Selection Camp. Her Westlake High School program reached was a 2024 6A Texas state runner-up after reaching the 2022 6A Texas Final Four. Carlson was the 2024 Central Texas Player of the Year and was also on the 6A All-State Team. Additional honors include All-District First Team, District Midfielder MVP, District Newcomer of the Year, team MVP, and team Golden Boot.

ON CHOOSING BUTLER: “I loved the environment and competitiveness that Butler had to offer me. Being in a competitive program and conference, I know my teammates and coaches will support and motivate me to grow and develop as a player. Butler’s community, academics, and soccer program stood out to me and excited me.”

PERSONAL: Carlson is the daughter of Krista Geiger-Simpson and has one sibling, Cadence.
