Puerto Rico U-20 national team: Gillespie made six appearances in 2025 as Puerto Rico competed in the Concacaf Women's U-20 Championship. In the qualifiers, she appeared in all three matches and made one start, scoring two goals in the win over Honduras. She then appeared in all three matches in the championship stage, making a start against the U.S.

2025 - Sophomore Season: Started in all 17 matches in the defensive back line…notched her first collegiate goal (the game-winner) and first collegiate assist in the 2-0 win over Seton Hall (10/18)...recorded seven shots with four on goal for the season.

2024 - Freshman Season: Appeared in 14 matches for the Bulldogs in the defensive line.

PRIOR TO BUTLER: Gillespie received All-State, All-Sectional, and All-Conference honors over multiple seasons at Fremd High School, a program that finished third in the 2023 IHSA State Championship. The center-back played club for Eclipse Select SC.

PERSONAL: Gillespie is the daughter of Mike and Terri Gillespie and has three siblings, Gia, Tommy, and Joey.
