Butler University Athletics

Amy Miller will take over as the director of volleyball operations at Butler University after spending the 2015 season as an assistant coach. Head Coach Sharon Clark announced the decision in mid-January after a successful 2014 campaign.

Miller hails from Chesapeake, Virginia where she graduated from Juniata College with a degree in management and a minor in communications. She was a Calver Ellis Four-Year Academic Scholarship recipient and a member of the Student Alumni Association.

As a player, Miller was an AVCA First Team All-Region selection in 2013, as well as a Division III All-American. She was a team captain on her collegiate team, her high school team and her junior Olympic team.

While working as a staff member at multiple volleyball camps over the summer, Miller created practice plans and instructed players on a daily basis. She assisted with demonstrations and helped keep the camps running on a tight schedule.
