Butler University Athletics

Steven Peek is in his fourth season with the Butler volleyball program, where he aids with constructing scouting reports and coordinates video editing and statistics for the Bulldogs.

Peek is majoring in both history and news editorial journalism while at Butler. He is a member of the Phi Alpha Theta History Fraternity and is currently in his second year as Sports Editor for Butler’s student newspaper The Collegian.

A 2007 Carmel (Ind.) graduate, Peek lettered two years for Carmel High School’s boys’ volleyball team. He also was an outside hitter for three years with Indiana Volleyball Academy, where his team finished in the top 10 at Junior Olympic Nationals his senior year.

His parents, Jeffrey and Debra, graduated from Butler in 1979. His sister Laura, 24, is working toward her Ph.D. in school psychology at Ball State.
