Break It Down
The Bulldogs have not scored a goal since Sept. 24 when they beat the Villanova goalkeeper twice in the conference opener for a 2-0 victory. The offense will look to return to form on Sunday against a Seton Hall Pirate team that ranks last in goals-against average when facing BIG EAST competition (2.20).

Butler Bowl
The Bulldogs are 4-4 at home this year. Three of the four setbacks featured a 1-0 final score in favor of the visitors. On a side note, the team's most recent road loss was the only time this year that BU was defeated by more than one goal.

Score First
The Bulldogs are undefeated this season when they score the first goal of the contest.

Senior Day
Butler will recognize the 2016 women's soccer senior class before the start of the match against Seton Hall. Elizabeth James, McKenzie Muchow, Serina Kashimoto, Hannah Farley and Tessa Faulkens will all be honored for their commitment to the program.

Fabulous Freshmen to Sensational Seniors
Serina Kashimoto and McKenzie Muchow immediately impacted the program during their rookie seasons and now four-years later the duo continue to lead this young team with their experience. Kashimoto has started in 77-straight games dating back to the 2013 campaign. She came off the bench in the first game of her career, but found herself in the starting lineup in every match after that. Muchow has also appeared in 78 games for Butler, making an impressive 75 starts throughout her BU career.

Ready... Aim... Fire!
Serina Kashimoto and Paige Monaghan are responsible for half of Butler's shots on the year. Kashimoto has taken 47 shots, one more than Monaghan. Only five other players on the roster have hit double digits, giving BU a grand total of 186.

Kashimoto Approaching BU History
Serena Kashimoto will look to place her name in the Butler women's soccer record book after a fantastic start to the season. The senior midfielder leads the team in points (20) and goals scored (8). Her assist total (4) is also tied for the team lead. To reach the BU top ten list, Kashimoto will need three more goals, four more assists or eight more points. As a junior, Kashimoto was named First Team All-BIG EAST, First Team All-Northeast Region, and Second Team All-America. Those accolades landed her on the 2016 Women's MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List (NSCAA), a prestigious individual award in college soccer presented annually to the outstanding female player of the year.

Up Next
Butler's final home match of the 2016 regular season will be played on Thursday, Oct. 20 when the Bulldogs play host to the Creighton Bluejays. The game will be streamed live on the BIG EAST Digital Network beginning at 7 PM. Butler leads the all-time series against Creighton 5-1-1. They most recently defeated Creighton in Omaha 2-1 in double overtime.
