Anna Logan is one of the top offensive talents in the country after the first three weeks of the season and she has the numbers to prove it. Heading into Tuesday night's contest, Logan leads the NCAA in both total kills (216) and points (243.5). The focal point of the BU offensive attack is hitting .286 on the year to average 4.60 kills per set. The single-season kills per set school record at Butler is held by Kali Carter, a 2004 graduate that averaged 4.57 kills per set her senior year.

Takeda with the Ace
Service aces would tell the story in Butler's game at Ball State with the Bulldogs posting a season-high 11 aces in the 3-0 sweep.
Taylor Takeda finished the match with seven aces, just two shy of tying the school record. The last Bulldog to post seven service aces in a single-match was Lynn Hardin (vs. Baylor) in a five-set match during the 1993 season. The school record of nine belongs to Laura Baire who played at Butler from 1992-1995. Baire dominated the match against Wright State during the 1995 campaign to collect her nine aces in a three-set win.

Bulldogs Winning Streak Continues
BU took their three-match winning streak into the Butler Classic last weekend and doubled it after dominating the competition over a two-day span. Butler improved to 8-4 overall and extended their win streak to six matches after defeating Tennessee State (3-0), Murray State (3-1) and Wright State (3-0). The Bulldogs have only lost one set through their last six matches. The current six match winning streak is almost a duplicate of the program's last six match win streak which came during the tail end of the 2013 season. Butler won six-straight vs. BIG EAST competition while only losing one set (at DePaul) from Nov. 2-22.
