Villanova ended the match hitting .284 as a team while BU was limited to just a .113 attack percentage. Loitz and Ashley Knight each posted three service aces in the win while Butler as a team came up with three aces. The Bulldogs didn't have a single player reach a double figure kill total and setter Makayla Ferguson matched her season-low assist total with 19.
