The Bulldogs split a Saturday doubleheader at the Butler Tennis Bubble, capturing their first dual match victory of the season.
 
Bailey Padgett won both of her matches at No. 1 singles, knocking off Dayton's Marlys Bridgham in three sets in the morning match, while downing Indiana Wesleyan's Rachel Bottorff in straight sets in the afternoon.
 
Dayton won 6-1, while Butler responded with a convincing 6-1 win over Indiana Wesleyan.
 
Coach Tayo Bailey used most of her roster throughout the day as 10 Bulldogs saw action in at least one match. In the match against Indiana Wesleyan, Rachel Sutton (No. 2), Kailey Eaton (No. 3), Carla O'Byrne (No. 5), and Nina Bertino (No. 6) each picked up singles wins.
 
The Bulldogs return to action Wednesday with a 4 p.m. match at the University of Indianapolis.
