PROVIDENCE – The Bulldogs found the win column on Thursday night by defeating Providence 3-0 (29-27, 25-23, 25-13). BU came up with their seventh win of the season and their fourth against a BIG EAST opponent.
Natalie Ravenell led Butler in kills with 10. She hit .286 against the Friars while adding five digs, three blocks and a service ace. BU had seven aces on the night.
Taylor Takeda and
Bri Lilly shared the team lead with two each.
Lilly was an impact player with eight kills and two blocks. The team leader in blocks this evening was
Melody Davidson with five. Davidson was also in the box score with eight kills on just 12 swings (.583).
Brooke Gregory was another important piece of the puzzle tonight. She ended the contest with nine kills, three digs and two blocks.

Megan Ramseyer. She posted a match-high 32 assists to go along with seven digs, two blocks and two kills. The team dig leader was
Emma Milstead with 12. Freshman
Elizabeth LaBue added nine.
