The Bulldogs return to action at the Battle 4 Atlantis with a Thanksgiving Night match-up with Middle Tennessee. The 9:30 p.m. tip will air nationally on ESPNU.
Butler (3-1) enters the contest off its first loss of the season, a 69-64 defeat to Dayton Wednesday night in the opening game of the eight-team tournament. Middle Tennessee is 3-2 on the season, with one of those losses coming at the hands of No. 4 Virginia Wednesday night.
Thursday's game is the second meeting between the Bulldogs and Middle Tennessee. The teams met in the 2017 NCAA Tournament. Butler won that Round of 32 match-up, 74-65, to advance to the Sweet 16. Â The game was played in Milwaukee.
Kamar Baldwin (13 points, four rebounds and four assists) and
Nate Fowler (four points) were the two active Bulldogs who saw action in that contest.

Baldwin leads the Bulldogs with a 20.3 points per game scoring average. He has scored 20+ points in three of the team's four games this season. He needs just 26 points to become the 40th Bulldog to register 1,000 career points. Baldwin has 118 career steals, just four shy of tenth place on Butler's all-time list.

Baldwin had seven assists against Dayton, tying his carer-high. Baldwin has led the team in assists in each of the four games this season and is averaging 6.0 assists per game.

Sean McDermott posted a career-high with 18 points Wednesday night in the loss to Dayton. Entering the game, McÂDermott had scored a total of 19 points in the team's first three games.

Fowler had a team-best seven rebounds against Dayton. His average of 5.5 boards per game is second on the team. Baldwin leads the team at 6.3 caroms per contest.

Paul Jorgensen tied for the team lead with 18 points against Dayton. Jorgensen posted career-highs with 27 points and six three-pointers in Friday's win over Ole Miss.

This is Butler's second appearance in the Battle 4 Atlantis; the Bulldogs went 2-1 in the 2014 event.

The Bulldogs will play again Friday to conclude the event at Paradise Island, Bahamas. Friday's opponent will be either Florida or Stanford depending on tonight's results.
