Scouting Anderson
The Ravens are 11-10 overall after winning four of their last five games. 18 of their 21 games have been played on a neutral field. Wednesday's tilt at Butler will be just their second true road test of the year. Branton Sanders leads the team with a .435 batting average and 19 RBI. Nick Butcher is the team leader in hits (35), runs (27) triples (2) and doubles (13). The Ravens have three other student-athletes batting over .300 giving the team a .319 team batting average.

Scouting #11 Indiana
The Hoosiers are ranked #11 in the D1Baseball.com Top-25 Poll. They defeated South Alabama 8-4 earlier this year when the Jags were ranked #17. They also took three of the four games at San Diego when the Toreros were ranked #13. IU recently split a pair of games against Iowa. They will play at Indiana State on Tuesday before hosting the Bulldogs Thursday through Saturday. The Hoosiers have a handful of weapons in the batting order including Luke Miller who leads the club with seven home runs and 18 RBI. Matt Gorski holds the highest batting average on the team (.338), but Logan Kaletha is the current hit leader with 25.

Last Time Around
Anderson and Butler have not met on the diamond since the 2006 season. The Bulldogs posted a 6-3 win at home. Butler recorded a 7-5 win at Indiana last year on April 19. Zach Jarosz went 3-for-4 from the plate as the lead-off man. The Bulldogs also got three hits from Garrett Christman. Butler led Indiana 5-0 after the top of the fifth inning, but the Hoosiers would score four in the bottom half to make it a game. BU added two runs in the ninth while only allowing one to secure the 7-5 victory.

Power at the Plate
Butler has recorded a double in 17 of their 20 games this season. Finding room in the outfield has been pivotal to the team's success as BU is 0-3 in games where they didn't produce a double.

Shake It Off
Butler gave up a season-high nine runs to Valparaiso on 13 hits, another total that go down as season-high. Only four of the nine runs were earned. BU will look to bounce back with a game against Anderson on Wednesday afternoon. BU has not lost back-to-back games this season and currently hold the eighth highest winning percentage in the NCAA at .800.

Weather Update
There is a 50% chance of rain in Indianapolis on Wednesday. Any and all updates for Butler baseball can be found on the website (ButlerSports.com) and on twitter (@ButlerUBaseball). Rain remains in the forecast later in the week in Bloomington. There is a 90% chance of rain on Thursday, followed by a 50% chance on Friday. Saturday looks like the best chance to play. There is only a 20% chance of rain with a high of 54 degrees.
