The Butler lacrosse team took another BIG EAST setback Saturday afternoon, falling to Denver 16-1. The Bulldogs are now 1-10, 0-3 in BIG EAST play. Denver moves to 7-3, 2-1 in the BIG EAST with the win.

The Pioneers used a ten-goal first half and never looked back. Butler's only goal was scored by Adilyn Smith, her second of the season, with three minutes to play in the first half

Denver scored six goals in the second half and held the Bulldogs scoreless to notch their second BIG EAST win. Julia Feiss led the Pioneer offense with four goals. Goalkeeper Carson Gregg (7-2) received the win in goal.

The Bulldogs return to action on April 4, hosting BIG EAST foe Marquette. First draw is set for 2 p.m.
