Butler swept BIG EAST foe Xavier Saturday in the final game of the regular season. The Bulldogs are now 2-2 in conference play.
The Bulldogs took all the matches in the 7-0 decision.
At No. 1 singles
Mason Dragos beat Xavier's Jack Dykema in straight sets 6-2, 6-0.
Aviv Ben Shabat,
Michael Dickson,
Spencer Lang,
Adrian Mag, and
Ari Gerstein also beat their opponents in straight sets.
The pairs of Gerstein and Mag, and Dickson and Lang clinched the doubles point at No. 3 and No. 2 singles, respectively. Shabat and Dragos were the final pair to finish, falling to the team from Xavier 6-3.
The Bulldogs are back in action Friday, traveling to Cayce, S.C. to compete in the BIG EAST Championships.
