About the Opponent: Baylor
The Bears are coming of a 1-1 week at the Arizona Tournament in Tucson. Baylor posted a 1-0 win over Arizona State and fell to Arizona 3-1. Baylor sits at 5-3-0 currently with notable wins against Nebraska, Florida Atlantic, and Samford. The Bears' three losses come at the hands of South Florida, Arkansas, and Arizona. The reigning Big 12 tournament champion was picked to finish third in the Big 12 preseason poll. Baylor is coming off the most successful postseason run in program history, securing a Big 12 tournament title before advancing through to the Elite 8 round of the NCAA Championship. Julie James leads the Bears, who are outshooting opponents 117-79, with five goals and one assist. Two goalies have seen time in goal with sophomore Jennifer Wandt seeing the majority of time. She comes into Thursday's match with a 4-2 record and a .91 goals against average.
About the Opponent: RV TCU
The undefeated Horned Frogs (6-0-1) will make the trip to Santa Clara to take on the Broncos before hosting the Bulldogs on Sunday. TCU has only allowed two goals in 2018, shutting out six of the seven teams they have faced. The two goals were conceded in TCU's 2-2 draw against SMU on Aug. 26. Notable wins for the Horned Frogs include a 4-0 win over Pittsburgh and 1-0 wins over Alabama and Missouri. The 2017 Big 12 Tournament runner-up was picked to finish fifth in the Big 12 Preseason poll. Maddy Warren is the goal (4) and points (11) leader for the Frogs. Kayla Hill adds two goals for TCU and nine other Frogs have put one in the back of the net. Goalkeeper Katie Lund comes into this week with a 3-0-1 record and a .42 goals against average.

The Bulldogs enter week four of the season ranked No. 23 in the United Soccer Coaches poll after a 2-0 week with wins over Northern Kentucky and Evansville. Butler comes in at No. 18 in the Top Drawer Soccer poll, up two spots from last week.

Halle Stelbasky each found the back of the net last season to help Butler pull off a major upset against No. 10 Texas A&M. Butler posted their fifth-straight shutout victory of the season against the nationally-ranked Aggies in College Station to improve to 5-1-1 on the year. The 2-0 victory was Butler's first win over a ranked opponent since the 2013 campaign.
BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week
Leonard led the nationally ranked Bulldogs to a pair of shutout victories last week by not allowing a single shot to be on target. No. 22 Butler held Evansville and Northern Kentucky to just five total shots, zero on goal, as the Bulldogs outshot their two opponents by a 33-5 margin, including 16-0 on goal. Butler defeated Evansville 4-0 on Thursday and Northern Kentucky 2-0 on Sunday.
