After 36 holes Monday at the Georgetown Intercollegiate, the Bulldogs are tied for fifth and have three golfers in the Top 20. Play concludes Tuesday with a final 18 holes.
Butler posted team totals of 290 (+6) in each of Monday's two rounds. The Bulldogs' total of 580 is tied with William & Mary for fifth as part of a crowded leaderboard.
Washington has the 36-hole lead at 563 (-5). The Huskies have a nine-shot lead over Loyola (Md.), who enter the final 18 holes at four-over 572. Florida Atlantic and Princeton are tied for third at 579 (+11), which is only one shot ahead of Butler.
Logan Sabins, who placed second in the event in 2018, is tied for 14
th after rounds of 70 and 74 Monday. His opening round of one-under 70 included three birdies. Sabins is part of a four-player tie at two-over 144. He is only two shots out of sixth place.

Luke Wells are tied for 18
th at three-over 143. Cascino shot a two-under 69 in the second round, which tied for the best mark of the afternoon session. He was able to rebound from an opening-round 76. His second-round scorecard included a 33 on the front and a total of five birdies as he navigated the 7,035-yard Four Streams course in Beallsville, Md.
Wells had rounds of 72 and 73 Monday. His second round included a stretch of four birdies over five holes (holes 14-18).
Patrick Allgeier shot back-to-back rounds of 74 for a 36-hole total of 148 (+6). He is tied for 29
th.
Michael Tanaka is tied for 52
nd at 152 (+10) after rounds of 74 and 78. There are 72 players in the field.
Washington has four of the top five performers on the leaderboard, led by Henry Lee at 135 (-7). He has a four-shot lead entering the final round. Seton Hall's Wenliang Xie is tied for second at three-under 139.
Butler is ahead of four of its BIG EAST rivals in the field. Seton Hall is eighth (586; +18), while host Georgetown is ninth (596; +28). DePaul and Creighton are also competing in the event, holding down the final two spots among the 12-team field.
Teams will tee off holes No. 1 and No. 10 beginning at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday. Butler will play with Florida Atlantic and William & Mary, teeing off No. 1 beginning at 9:30 a.m. Live scoring will be available via GolfStat.
