INDIANAPOLIS – Butler will flip the conference schedule and host Villanova and Georgetown over Homecoming weekend. The first match will be played on Friday night at 6 PM vs. the Wildcats. The weekend will come to a close with a 1 PM match on Sunday vs. the Hoyas.

- Gregory has three games this year with 15 kills and an attack percentage at .500 or higher.

Shay Horn matched her season-best total with four blocks at Providence.
- Horn filled up the box score by adding 12 kills and a season-high five digs.
SCOUTING VILLANOVA: The Wildcats split a pair of matches last weekend to move to 14-6 overall. They lost 3-0 to #12 Marquette, but got a win the following day over DePaul 3-1. Head Coach Josh Steinbach oversees a balanced offensive attack that features a .273 team hitting percentage. Mallory Potts highlights the offense with a team-best 179 kills. Emma Decker is responsible for distributing the ball and also has one of the best serves on the team. Defensively, Nova will rely on libero Regan Lough. At the net, the Wildcats get a lift from middle blocker Sophia Howling.
Villanova is 6-1 at home this season and 6-0 on a neutral court, but they are just 2-5 on the road.
ALL-TIME SERIES VS. VILLANOVA: Butler lost at Villanova on Oct. 5 by the final score of 3-0. That setback moved the all-time series to 10-4 in favor of the Bulldogs. The two clubs split the 2018 series with each team winning at home.
Clare Delaplane was the best player on the floor the first time these two teams met this year. She posted a double-double with 13 kills and 15 digs.
SCOUTING GEORGETOWN: The Hoyas are 2-6 against conference opponents with each win coming in five sets. It took all five sets for Butler to earn a win at Georgetown with Iva Vujosevic registering 23 kills in the first meeting. Vujosevic is the driving force of the Hoya attack with a team-best 308 kills. She ranks third in the BIG EAST in kills per set (3.80), and leads the conference with 37 service aces. Emma Plutnicki sets up the offense for head coach Toby Rens. The defense is led by Jessica Cusi and Makayla Serrett.
Anna Logan recorded 17 kills and 15 digs in the win at Georgetown. She added a season-high six blocks.
ALL-TIME SERIES VS. GEORGETOWN: Butler won 3-2 at Georgetown on Oct. 4 to increase their lead in the all-time series to 11-3. The Hoyas swept BU last year. The two teams split the regular season in 2017.
NCAA RANKINGS: Butler ranks 41st in the NCAA in team attacks per set (37.01), 51st in digs per set (16.19) and 87th in blocks per set (2.25).
LABUE EARNS BIG EAST DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK HONORS: LaBue had a breakout weekend in the back court to propel the Bulldogs to a three-way tie for third in the conference standings. The libero led the BIG EAST in digs per set last weekend at 5.71. LaBue turned in nine digs and two assists in a 3-0 setback against then-No. 11 Creighton before posting a career-high 31 digs in a four-set win against Providence. LaBue ranks second in BIG EAST action in digs per set at 4.77.
31 digs by LaBue is the highest total reached in a four-set match by any BIG EAST player.
HOME SWEET HINKLE: Butler hasn't lost a conference match at home this season. Some 'Dawgs have better numbers at home than on the road.
Shay Horn hits .193 at home, but .095 on the road.
Elizabeth LaBue has 10 service aces at Hinkle, but just three in away matches.
Melody Davidson averaged 1.58 blocks per set on her home court and 1.10 as a visitor.
UP NEXT: Butler will play at DePaul on Friday night to open the month of November. The team will come back to Hinkle on Sunday to host the Marquette Golden Eagles at 1 PM.
