NEW YORK –
Melody Davidson has been named BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week by the conference office. Davidson recorded 22 total blocks last week in matches against DePaul, Georgetown and Villanova. She now leads the BIG EAST in blocks per set (1.25).
Davidson recorded a career-high 11 blocks in the 3-2 win over DePaul on Wednesday night. She came back just two days later to post 10 kills and seven blocks on the road at Georgetown. For the week, Davidson averaged 1.85 kills per set, 1.69 blocks per set and 2.81 points per set.

Anna Logan made the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll. Logan posted two double-doubles last week with 15 kills and 13 digs in a win at home over DePaul. She notched 17 kills and 15 digs in the victory at Georgetown. For the week, Logan provided BU with 41 total kills, 42 digs, 13 blocks and three service aces.
