INDIANAPOLIS – The Butler Swim 'Dawgs finished the 2019 House of Champions Invitational with 455 points to earn an eighth place finish. BU placed ahead of Eastern Illinois and Western Illinois. The top three teams at the end of the three-day event were Cincinnati, Michigan State and Illinois.

1650 Yard Freestyle
Colleen Carey finished 18th in the event with a time of 17:54.13. Emma Harris was right behind her in 19th at 17:57.66. Olivia Klafta also scored by placing 23rd (18:12.45).
 
200 Yard Backstroke
Hannah Pugh posted the second-best time in school history in the 200 Yard Backstroke by placing eighth overall with a time of 2:03.23. Megan Hanson was also a top performer for BU with a time of 2:08.34.
 
200 Yard Breaststroke
Alexa Vota was Butler's top finisher in the 200 Yard Breast. She placed 19th with a time of 2:24.61. The Bulldogs had three swimmers finish in a group as Natalie Rohweder and Allie Carmichael also scored in the event. Rohweder took 20th (2:25.70) and Carmichael was 21st (2:26.72).
 
200 Yard Butterfly
Annah Van Gheem placed 11th in the 200 Yard Butterfly with a time of 2:07.14. Emma Harris finished 16th at 2:13.67.
 
400 Yard Freestyle Relay
Van Gheem, Issy Petersen, Madison Himler, and Isabel Heitmeyer took eighth place in the event with a time of 3:35.61.
