The Bulldogs continued their win streak Friday afternoon, topping Cardinal Stritch 7-0, marking their sixth straight win. Butler is now 10-4 on the season.
Butler took two of three doubles matches to clinch the doubles point.
Adrian Mag and
Aviv Ben Shabat won in the No. 2 spot, taking down Danilo Pejovic and Jose Chamba 6-4.
Thomas Brennan and
Spencer Lang battled in the No. 3 spot to take the 7-6 win and clinch the point.
A sweep of singles play would give Butler six more points to post the shutout. Â Brennan got things going in singles play at the No. 2 spot, defeating Chamba 6-2, 6-2.
Aviv Ben Shabat clinched the win in the No. 3 position, taking down Nicola Wehrle 6-3, 6-3.
Dragos continued his strong performance in the No. 1 spot, beating Agustin Gascia 6-3, 6-3. Lang,
Ryan Roegner, and Mag all posted straight set victories as well.
The Bulldogs return to the court on March 13, taking on Austin Peay in Clarksville, Tenn.
