The Bulldogs travel southeast for spring break, taking on Gardner-Webb on March 10, Wofford on March 13, and Furman on March 15. Butler looks to rebound from a 15-5 loss to Louisville on Wednesday afternoon.

Amanda Rumsey made the start in goal, receiving the loss and allowing 13 goals on 11 saves. She is now 2-4 on the season. FreshmanÂ
Katie McGrath entered the game with 12 minutes to play, making 5 saves and allowing two goals.
Guerra and Latsko continue to front the Bulldog attack. Guerra leads the team in goals (14), assists (8), and points (22). The sophomore has taken 26 shots on the season and picked up four ground balls. Latsko has tallied 13 goals and 3 assists for 16 points, as well as winning 6 draw controls and causing seven turnovers.
Defender
Carly Hewitt has been solid in the back line, causing a team-high 13 turnovers and picking up 21 ground balls, also a team-high. Freshman
Holly Hall has made an impact in the midfield for the Bulldogs, scoring six goals as well as causing 10 turnovers and grabbing 12 ground balls. The rookie has also won 10 draw controls.
Rumsey has seen the majority of time in the cage for the Bulldogs, making 54 saves with a .429 save percentage. In McGrath's 25 minutes in goal, she has made seven saves for a .583 save percentage.
About Gardner-Webb
The Runnin' Bulldogs are 2-2 in 2019, with their most recent win coming against Delaware State, 19-2. Freshman
Jada Preston finished the game by shattering the school record for assists, dishing off eight in the win. Preston added two goals to tie the school's single-game record for total points (10).
Gardner-Webb was dominant for the second game in a row, holding a 32-4 shooting advantage – with 24 shots on cage and 19 finding the back of the net. GWU assisted on 14 of its 19 goals Wednesday, its best passing performance of the season.Â
The Runnin' Bulldogs are coming off a 3-14 2018, with a 1-6 Big South conference mark. Butler played Gardner-Webb in 2017, Butler's inaugural season, with Butler taking home its first win as a program, 16-13.
About Wofford
Wofford has a 1-4 record so far this season, with a win over Presbyterian, 14-13, in the Terriers' first game of the season. Wofford fell 18-8 in its most recent outing against St. Francis. As a team, the Terriers picked up 11 ground balls and totaled 21 shots whileÂ

This is Wofford's second year as a varsity program, finishing 2-15 in its inaugural season, including a 1-4 Southern Conference mark. The Terriers beat Delaware State and Howard to notch their two wins in 2018.

About Furman
The Paladins, 2-4, will take on Liberty on March 9 before facing the Bulldogs on March 13. Furman's two wins come against Presbyterian, 19-3, and Campbell, 11-9.
Abby Shields leads the Paladins in goals (10) and points (15). She also adds five assists. Grace Pollak adds eights goals and six assists. Courtney Baker has seen every game in goal for Furman, posting a 15.00 goals against average with 36 saves.
The Paladins are coming off an 8-11 2018 that included the Paladins' appearance in the first-ever Southern Conference women's lacrosse championship game. Furman fell to Mercer in that contest, but the Paladins won three games in the first year of Southern Conference play.

The Paladins were selected as the SoCon preseason favorites, in voting done by the league's head coaches, while Shields and Franklin were both named to the preseason All-Conference team.
