Butler came in at No. 10 in the final ITA rankings for the Ohio Valley region. The Ohio Valley region is comprised of all Division I tennis programs in the states of Indiana, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio
The ranking matched the high-water mark for the Bulldogs, who were also ranked tenth in the Ohio Valley in 2017 after winning the BIG EAST title.
In one of the most successful seasons in program history, Butler won a school-record 21 matches under first-year head coach
Daniel Pollock, while advancing to the semifinals of the BIG EAST Tournament.
Mason Dragos and
Thomas Brennan each earned All-BIG EAST Honors following the 2018-19 season. Dragos was named a First Team member for the fourth straight season, while Brennan earned Second Team honors after his first season as a Bulldog.
The Bulldogs had two of the four semifinal doubles teams in the ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships in October.
Tennessee took the top spot in the Ohio Valley region, followed by Vanderbilt and Kentucky.
