AUBURN, Ala. – The Butler volleyball team notched their first win of the young season with a 3-0 sweep over Tennessee State in the second match of the War Eagle Invite (25-22, 25-23, 25-17). Megan Ramseyer helped lead the way to victory with a double-double performance.
 
How It Happened
Anna Logan, Brooke Gregory and Shay Horn provided the offense is a 3-0 win over Tennessee State. Logan would end the night with a team-high 11 kills. She added five digs and four blocks in the result. Horn and Gregory each had eight kills vs. the Tigers.

Butler was sound defensively with nine team blocks. They held Tennessee State to a .011 attack percentage which resulted in zero Tigers reaching a double figure kill total.
 
Key Moments
Scoring runs helped BU come out on top in the Friday night finale. A 6-0 run midway through the first set helped BU get on top, and four-straight points in crunch time of set two would give the 'Dawgs a 2-0 lead. The third set didn't feature any lead changes allowing Butler's quick start to reach the final serve.

Brooke Gregory impacted the match with eight kills, a team-high five blocks and two service aces.
