AUBURN, Ala. – Butler dominated the fourth set 25-14 to push the match to five, but in the end the Auburn Tigers would defend their home court with a 3-2 victory (29-31, 25-22, 33-31, 14-25, 15-12).

Butler scored three-straight points to tie the first set at 22-22 and that momentum would allow them to win the opener 31-29.
Megan Ramseyer posted a kill to get the 'Dawgs to set point and
Melody Davidson would finish off the opener with a kill off a feed from Ramseyer 31-29.
Set three was a turning point in the match as Butler's 17-13 lead slipped away, resulting in a 24-24 tie. The Tigers would go up 2-1 in the match by recording a 33-31 win.
BU led 8-5 in the fifth set, but a quick 3-0 run would knot the scoreboard at 8-8. The 'Dawgs looked to be in control once again with a 12-10 advantage, but the Tigers would rattle off five-straight to become victorious.
