AUBURN, Ala. – Butler dominated the fourth set 25-14 to push the match to five, but in the end the Auburn Tigers would defend their home court with a 3-2 victory (29-31, 25-22, 33-31, 14-25, 15-12). Anna Logan and Megan Sheridan represented BU on the War Eagle Invite All-Tournament Team.
 
Key Moments
Butler scored three-straight points to tie the first set at 22-22 and that momentum would allow them to win the opener 31-29. Megan Ramseyer posted a kill to get the 'Dawgs to set point and Melody Davidson would finish off the opener with a kill off a feed from Ramseyer 31-29.
 
Set three was a turning point in the match as Butler's 17-13 lead slipped away, resulting in a 24-24 tie. The Tigers would go up 2-1 in the match by recording a 33-31 win.
 
BU led 8-5 in the fifth set, but a quick 3-0 run would knot the scoreboard at 8-8. The 'Dawgs looked to be in control once again with a 12-10 advantage, but the Tigers would rattle off five-straight to become victorious.

Five different BU student-athletes recorded 10 or more kills in the five-set match at Auburn. Anna Logan led the way with 18, Megan Sheridan was close behind with 17 and Brooke Gregory added 15. Rounding out the unit would be Brittany Robinson with 14 and Melody Davidson with 10.

Anna Logan had a match-high 18 kills to go along with 16 digs to notch her first double-double of the 2019 season.
