The Bulldogs hold a three-shot lead heading into Tuesday's final round of the Skyhawk Classic. Michael Cascino is tied for the individual lead after firing a three-under 69 in Monday's second round.
 
Butler carded a team score of 282 in Monday's second 18 after a score of 295 in the opening round. The 36-hole score of 577 is three shots clear of Murray State (580) and five shots better than host UT-Martin (582). There are 14 teams in the field.
 
Butler entered the second round eight shots off the pace of UT-Martin, and in third place overall. A strong second round allowed the Bulldogs to jump both teams on the leaderboard.
 
Cascino followed up an even par 72 with a three-under 69 in the second round on the 6,685-yard Paris Landing State Park Golf Course in Buchanan, Tenn. Cascino has 10 birdies in the 36 holes.
 
Cascino is tied with Tennessee State's Landon Albert at three-under 141. They have a one-shot lead.
 
Freshman Luke Wells is tied for fifth at one-under 143 following a four-under 68 in the second round, which was the best round of his young Butler career. Wells has played the par 5s at five-under so far in the tournament.
 
Patrick Allgeier shot rounds of 75 and 70, and is tied for 11th at 145 (+1). Allgeier had a pair of eagles in the second round Monday. Also among that group tied for 11th is Logan Sabins. Sabins, playing as an individual in his first action of the season, shot rounds of 73 and 72.
 
Michael Tanaka is tied for 26th at 149 (+5). The fifth Butler scorer is Raymond Sullivan, whose two-round total of 151 (+7) is tied for 31st.
 
Sophomore Stephen Kocerha, playing in his first Butler event after transferring into the program over the summer, put together rounds of 75 and 73 and is tied for 21st at 148 (+4). Kocerha is playing as an individual. Also playing as individuals are Nick Williams (154; +10) and Michael Denner (156; +12), who are tied for 45th and 50th, respectively.
 
Tuesday's final 18 on Tuesday will feature a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. (Central).
