INDIANAPOLIS – Head Coach
Sharon Clark added two talented transfers to the Butler volleyball program during the offseason by bringing in libero Jaymeson Kinley and outside hitter Elana Brueggemann. Kinley spent the 2018 season at Austin Peay. Brueggemann is a Carmel, Ind. native that played at DePaul in 2019.

Kinley played club volleyball at Lexington United for head coach Chris Beerman. In 2018 she appeared in 72 sets for the Governors, suppling the team with 239 digs and 49 assists, and six service aces.
Elana Brueggemann

DePaul Transfer
Brueggemann played in 97 sets for DePaul during her freshman season. She ended her rookie campaign with 145 kills, 110 digs, 21 blocks and eight service aces. Her season-high kill total came in the first match of the season vs. Jacksonville. Brueggemann recorded 13 kills on just 21 attempts to post a .571 attack percentage. She impacted the match at St. John's with a season-high four blocks and had four matches near the end of the season with 10 digs or more.
A three-year starter at Carmel, Brueggemann led her team in kills during her senior season and was therefore named All-MIC. The two-time team captain was a six-rotation player at Carmel. She also played club ball for Circle City. Her 17 Purple team finished fifth at the USA Nationals in 2018. In 2019, her 18 Purple team won the Windy City Qualifier for the USA Open Division.
