The Butler women's tennis team picked up a 4-2 win over Illinois State at the Butler Bubble on Sunday, Feb. 23. The win snaps the Bulldog's four-match losing streak and is their first win in the month of February.
The No. 3 doubles team of

Kendal Wilby took the first singles match by default, but the Redbird's swept the top flight pairs to earn the first point of the match.
The Bulldogs bounced back in singles, as Wilby and
Hallie Leblebijian picked up wins by default in the No. 5 and No. 6 flights.
Logan White posted a strong 6-3, 6-3 win in the No. 1 flight to put the Bulldogs up 3-1.
Sara Linn clinched the match with a tight straight set win in the No. 3 spot.
Lauryn Padgett was leading in the midst of a third set at the No. 2 flight, but the match went unfinished when Linn completed her match.
Illinois State swiped one singles win the No. 4 flight to finalize the score at 4-2.
The Bulldogs are back in action at home for their next two matches, starting Wednesday (Feb. 23) when Butler hosts DePauw. First serve is set for 5 p.m. at the Butler Bubble.
