streamed live on the Blue Demon's website.

th meeting between the Bulldogs and Blue Demons, as Butler leads the all-time series 6-2-3.

In this season's first match-up between the teams, Bulldogs found their offensive form as they were able to bring down DePaul 5-0 on March 3 at the Sellick Bowl.
Wilmer Cabrera, Jr. notched his first hat trick in a Butler uniform, the first three point game for a Bulldog since 2016. Cabrera has assisted on or scored five of the Bulldogs' six goals this season.
Tommy Visser and
Eric Hollenkamp also found the back of the net against DePaul.

Goalkeeper
Gabriel Gjergi made four saves in the win over the Blue Demons. He would post two more shutouts in scoreless-draws with Marquette and Xavier before allowing a goal Butler's most recent 4-2 loss to Creighton on March 17.

For the Bulldogs, BIG EAST play during the 2021 spring includes a home-and-home series with the four other Midwest division schools: DePaul, Xavier, Marquette, and Creighton. Butler is 1-1-2 so far in league play.
Butler was predicted to win the BIG EAST Midwest Division, which was voted on by the league's head coaches earlier this year. The Bulldogs had two players named to the Preseason All-BIG EAST Team in sophomore Cabrera and senior defender
Rhys Myers.
Cabrera was the BIG EAST Freshman of the Year in 2019, after scoring eight goals and starting in every game. JuniorÂ
Jack Haywood was All-BIG EAST third-team in 2019 after tying for conference high in assists.
Following Saturday's contest, the Bulldogs will have a mid-week bye before facing Marquette in Milwaukee, Wis. on Saturday, March 27.
