Behind a medalist performance from Rayna Oosterhuis, Butler was also able to take the team title at the Lady Jaguar Invitational.

The 36-hole event concluded Tuesday in Carmel, Ind.

Oosterhuis entered the day three shots behind 18-hole leader Annaliese Fox of IUPUI. After her opening-round 73, Oosterhuis was one shot better on Tuesday, carding an even-par 72 on the 6,102-yard Plum Creek course. It tied for the low round of the day. She finished the event at one-over 145, which was two shots better than Fox (+3). Oosterhuis's Tuesday scorecard included two birdies.

The Bulldogs improved their team performance by 15 shots from Monday to Tuesday with a five-over 293 in the final round. That moved Butler from second place into the top spot of the leaderboard at 601 (+25). Host IUPUI finished in second, four shots back (605; +29). IUPUI entered the final round with a four-shot lead.

Purdue Fort Wayne (622; +46), Cleveland State (633; +57) and Northern Kentucky (657; +81) rounded out the five-team field.

Ally Ross and Megan Skoog each shot 77 (+5) Monday. Skoog shot a one-over 73 Tuesday to finish in a tie for fourth at 150 (+6). She had five birdies on her round. Ross finished one shot back after a second-round 74. She was among three golfers who tied for sixth at 151 (+7).

Freshman Alaina Bowie and Claire Edwards tied for 11th at 155 (+11). Edwards carded a two-over 74 Tuesday, seven shots better than her Monday round. Each team featured six golfers with the best four scores counting toward the team total each day.

Katelyn Le finished in 26th at 164 (+20).

The Bulldogs also have three individuals in the field. Nicole Jordan tied for 17th at 16-over 160. She shot 78 Tuesday. Lexy Stuckey was one shot back in a tie for 19th at 161 (+17). Avery VonDielingen (+27) finished 32nd.

The Bulldogs have added an event to the spring schedule with the Big Four Classic Tuesday, April 20 at Prairie View Golf Club in Carmel, Ind.

Following that event, the Bulldogs will travel to Fort Myers, Fla., for the BIG EAST Championships. That tournament is scheduled to run Friday, April 23 through Sunday, April 25.
