Butler tied for the low team score of the day in Monday's final round, climbing into a third-place finish as the Indiana State Invitational concluded in Terre Haute.

After entering the final 18 holes in fourth place overall, Butler shot a nine-over 297 Monday to jump host Indiana State for the third place spot. Monday's 297 was a 10-shot improvement over Sunday's opening-round 307. Butler's total of 604 (+28) was just two shots out of second.

Northern Iowa took the team title at 597 (+21). The Panthers had the 18-hole lead and then tied Butler for the round of the day Monday. Green Bay finished second at 602 (+26). There were a total of nine teams in the field.

Ally Ross carded a two-under 70 on the 5,900-yard Country Club of Terre Haute course in Monday's round, which was the best score of the day by two shots. Combined with her 78 from Sunday, Ross finished at four-over 148, tying for second in the 56-player field.

Claire Edwards joined Ross among the three players who tied for second. Edwards matched her opening-round 74 with another two-over 74 Monday, finishing at 148 (+4). Northern Iowa's Hannah Bermel shot an even-par 72 Monday to finish at 143 (-1) and take individual medalist honors. Bermel also led after the opening round. Â

Megan Skoog entered the day tied for sixth and finished the tournament in that same position. She shot a three-over 75 for the second day in a row, totaling 150 (+6) for the event.

Katelyn Le and
Rayna Oosterhuis tied for 20
th at 158 (+14). Le shot 78 Monday to climb several spots on the final leaderboard. Oosterhuis was playing as an individual in the event. Her Sunday scorecard featured an ace.

Alaina Bowie shot 79 Monday to follow up on her Sunday 81 to finish at 160 (+16) and in a tie for 27
th.

Avery VonDielingen, also playing as an individual, shot 85 Monday to finish in a tie for 31
st at 161 (+17). VonDielingen shot a four-over 76 in the opening round.
